Behind the laser
Hi there, and welcome to our shop!
We’re Jess and Jake—a husband-and-wife duo with a love for creativity, craftsmanship, and, most importantly, our two wonderful little product testers (a.k.a. our children). As a small, family-run business based in a bustling town in South Wales, we pour our hearts into every piece we create.
We’re passionate about working with local businesses, and sustainability is at the core of what we do. Our beautiful wood, for example, is sourced just a short trip down the M4, ensuring our materials are as eco-friendly and local as possible.
Though you might hear from Jake now and then, the customer side of the business is mostly run by me—Jess! When I’m not designing and crafting, I’m busy wrangling the kids (or trying to stop myself from adding even more new product ideas to the shop). Jake, on the other hand, juggles a full-time job while also being our behind-the-scenes hero. He keeps our beloved laser in top shape, making sure she’s well-fed, well-maintained, and as pretty as ever—because, let’s be honest, without him, we’d be lost!
I’ve always had a love for crafts, but narrowing it down to just one passion? Impossible! That’s why our shop offers such a wide variety of items, and why my absolute favorite part of this business is working with our customers to bring their custom designs to life.
You’ll probably notice that many of our creations are inspired by our greatest masterpieces—our little boy and girl. With a background in education and childcare, I love designing pieces that spark creativity, encourage learning, and celebrate imagination.
